Refund policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to The Spice Life, brought to you by Kasardevi Foods. We value your satisfaction and aim to make your shopping experience enjoyable. This Purchase and Refund Policy outlines the terms regarding purchases, refunds, and exchanges for products or services bought from The Spice Life/Kasardevi Foods.

2. Purchases

Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, etc. Payment is due at the time of purchase.

Order Confirmation: Upon successful payment, you will receive an email confirmation with details of your order. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact us at thespicelife.ca@gmail.com.

Delivery: Order by Friday for Weekend Delivery. We aim to fulfill orders promptly, but weekend delivery may not always be possible. If needed, we may deliver at a later date. All orders will be delivered within 15 days from the order date.

3. Pickup Eligibility

Pickup Locations and Hours: Orders are available for pickup at The Halifax Brewery Market every Saturday from 8 AM to 1 PM. Please note pickup is only available if you selected Pickup when placing an order.

Order Confirmation: Once your order is ready, you will receive a notification via email that your order is ready for pickup.

3. Preparing for Pickup

Identification: Please bring a valid photo ID and a copy of your order confirmation (digital or printed).

Authorized Pickups: If someone else is picking up on your behalf, they must provide a copy of the order confirmation and show a valid photo ID.

Timeframe for Pickup: Please pick up your order within 10 days of receiving your pickup notification. Orders not collected within this period may be canceled or restocked.

Unclaimed Orders: Orders not picked up within 10 days will be cancelled and will be ineligible for refund.

4. Final Sale

All items purchased from The Spice Life/Kasardevi Foods are considered final sale and are non-refundable and non-returnable. This means:

No Returns or Exchanges: We do not accept returns or exchanges for any items, including items that may be unused or unopened.

No Refunds: Refunds are not available once a purchase is made.

Order Cancellations: Orders cannot be canceled once they have been placed.

Order Changes: Once your order is prepared for pickup or delivery, we cannot make changes to items or quantities. If you need assistance, please contact us as soon as possible.

Exceptions: If an item arrives damaged or incorrect due to our error, please contact us at thespicelife.ca@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery or pickup, and we’ll resolve the issue promptly.

5. Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us right away if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We’ll evaluate the issue and make it right.
